Pat Bradford holds a B.A. and a B.S. from Appalachian State University and built her career as a journalist, editor, publisher, and business owner in media and publishing. Elected to the New Hanover County Board of Education in November 2022 (term 2022–2026), she brings communications expertise to issues of school transparency and public communication, and has supported curriculum review, parental notification policies, and budget accountability.
